Kandiyohi County is seeking a full-time Assessor I to perform technical and specialized field and office work in the assessment of residential, seasonal, and agricultural properties.  Certified MN Assessor (CMA) license or the ability to achieve within one year and a valid MN Driver's License required.  Three years of relevant work experience required, 1-3 years of appraisal/assessing experience is preferred. This position is classified as a B22 and the wage range is $20.67- $29.97 per hour.

Kandiyohi County Health & Human Services has an Accounting Technician vacancy.  The full-time position may include, but is not limited to: designing and maintaining spreadsheets; investigating errors or problems in the processing of fiscal transactions; proofreading and correcting accounts; reconciling monthly statements; using general ledger software for data entry; providing information to agency staff and/or the general public. The position is under the B22 classification.

Completion of an accredited accounting program or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and related work experience desired.  Applicants must meet the Merit System requirements including application and online testing for this position by Friday, July 27, 2018.

This position performs routine clerical or typing tasks to include answering phones, greeting visitors, answering routine questions, taking and distributing messages. Responsible for classifying and entering statistical information into Local, State CJIS/CJRS and NCIC computer systems; releases information to general public and other law enforcement agencies in accordance with the Data Privacy Law. Obtain background information through various law enforcement sources to aid in granting permits.  High School diploma or equivalent and sufficient experience to perform the duties at a satisfactory level. Training and experience in police record systems preferred. This is an A12 classification with a wage range of $16.74  to $24.27 per hour.
