Kandiyohi County Park Manager
Kandiyohi County is seeking applications for a County Park Manager for Big Kandiyohi Lake County Park East, Lake Lillian. Responsibilities include general maintenance duties for upkeep of the campground buildings and grounds including operations of powered tools and motor driven equipment. Manager must be a motivated, responsible self-starter, have the ability to communicate well with people as well as the ability to follow and enforce county park rules and policies. Must have proven computer skills for record keeping and the ability to manage finances. Manager receives income from the store, rentals and a percentage of the park fees. This is a contracted position and is not an employee of the County.

This full time position involves supervision of juvenile/adult offenders and pre-dispositional investigations. The Probation Officer will be responsible for the overall supervision and management of a caseload as assigned. Duties may include interviewing offenders, assessing for risk and needs; determining treatment goals, enhancing motivation, utilizing case planning, referring clients to community agencies following evidenced-based practices in community corrections, counsel clients on issues, personal problems, establishing personal goals; Will work collaboratively with law enforcement, courts and social service agencies.
Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Corrections, Sociology or related field and experience in the field of corrections, counseling or chemical dependency. Requires excellent communication and computer skills. Some nontraditional work hours are required. Must pass a thorough background investigation. Valid Minnesota driver’s license required. Salary range is $57,736 to $83,726 plus excellent benefits.
