CORRECTIONAL OFFICER

 Correctional Officers carry out procedures and activities to ensure the security and well-being of persons being held in the Kandiyohi County Jail. Must have dependable work history, High School education/GED required and applicable experience preferred. Must be willing to work minimum 8 hour shifts on a rotating day/night schedule. 
  

Salary range:  $22.86 - $33.15 per hour

Maintenance/Survey-Construction Laborers

Seasonal summer employment at Kandiyohi County Public Works.  Positions available in the maintenance department doing general county road maintenance duties.  Positions also available in the engineering department doing surveying/road construction duties.  Starting pay is $12.00.  Applicants must be able to start work no later than June 1, 2020 and must be 18 years of age with a valid MN driver’s license.

LIFEGUARDS

Part time seasonal summer employment at County Park beaches.
American Red Cross/YMCA Lifeguard Certificate, CPR/First Aid Certification and water front certification required.
Must be 18 years of age. 
Kandiyohi County is offering to pay for training of prospective lifeguards. 
Training is being offered at the Willmar YMCA, dates to be determined. 
Starting pay is $13.00/hour.

SEASONAL WATERCRAFT INSPECTORS

Kandiyohi County is NOW hiring for watercraft inspectors for its aquatic invasive species prevention program.
Positions will assist with inspections and decontaminations program at public accesses and other locations in Kandiyohi County
Starting rates are $12.00/hour with flexible hours from sunrise to evening, but you need to be willing to work weekends and holidays.
DNR Certification training is provided.  Must be at least 18, have a valid driver’s license, and use of a personal vehicle.
