Deputy Auditor/Treasurer – Accounts Payable
Full time position will provide Accounts Payable services to the County and answer inquiries/concerns from staff and other related parties. This position ensures the daily functions of the accounts payable and Auditor/Treasurer’s Office are processed and completed as required by the standards of the county. Employee will also work with the public regarding voting procedures and the receipt of property tax payments at the front counter. Employee will work with Accounts Payables completing the processing of invoices from the time of receipt to payment; verification of taxes paid for property transfers and mortgages to be recorded and perform other accounting duties as assigned. Two-year Accounting degree and/or 3+ years of comparable experience and proven knowledge of Microsoft Office/Excel required.
This job is classified as B22 and has a salary range of $21.08 to $30.57 per hour.
