Information Technology Technician
This position provides technical support of specialized applications to County employees. Responsibilities may include evaluating, installation, repair and maintenance of computer hardware and applications, collecting data and submitting service requests. Troubleshoots and documents technical and network problems related to computers, technological equipment, software, and/or related equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Associate’s degree or two-year technical certificate in Information Technology or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This position is classified as B23 with starting wage at $22.41.

PUBLIC SAFETY DISPATCHER
The Public Safety Dispatcher operates the Kandiyohi County 9-1-1 emergency phone system, computer aided dispatch/records system, and sophisticated radio/telephone network in providing assistance to field personnel, other agencies, and the public. Must be able to exercise rational judgment and work both independently and in a team. Related post-secondary education and dispatch experience preferred. Must pass practical dispatcher test, oral interview, thorough background investigation, and psychological examination. Credit may be offered for prior dispatch experience and/or CJIS Certification. Full-time position with benefits; rotating shifts, holidays and weekends required. Salary classification and range (2019): B23 $46,613 - $67,604 per year.
