Driver's License Fees

  • Class A, regular - $51.00
  • Class A, under 21 - $31.00
  • Class B, regular and under 21 - $43.00
  • Class C, regular or under 21 - $36.00
  • Class D, regular or under 21 - $32.00
  • Provisional Driver's License - $19.25
  • Class D Provisional license upgrade to under 21 DL(no violations on record) - $28.50
  • Class D instruction permit - $15.50
  • Duplicate Drivers License or ID card - $17.00
  • Identification Card - $21.50
  • ID card for 65 and older - $20.75
  • ID card for person with qualified diability $.50
  • 4- year motorcycle endorsement renewal - $13.00
  • School Bus processing fee - original and renewal - $4.00
  • EDL's add $15.00 to the cost.

Motor Vehicle Fees
Basic Motor vehicle fees run between $35.00 and $45.00 plus sales tax.

 

  • $8.25 Title Fee(an additional $2.00 is due for lien recorded)
  • $3.50 Public Safety Vehicle Fee
  •  $11.00 filing fee /$7.00 for renewals only
  •  Motor Vehicle Sales Tax - subject to 6.5% unless the vehicle is 10 years old and worth less than $3,000( this in lieu of tax of $10.00 applies to passenger vehicles only) There is a $150.00 in lieu of tax for collector class vehicles.
  • $8.25 Duplicate title fee
  • $2.00 late Transfer penalty( Due after 10 business days from date of sale)
  • $3.00 Non-title transfer
  •  *$10.00 Transfer Tax – This fee is not charged on:
    • Transfers from joint to single ownership
    • Applications in the name of a licensed dealer
    • Applications in a government entity
    • Small non-titled utility trailers, under 1,000 lbs
    • Motorcycle
  • $10.00 Wheelage Tax, Qualifying counties.
  • Salvage Fee $35.00 - Due when a passed Salvage Inspection Report is submitted.
  • Plate Fees:  
    • $15.50 double plates  
    • $13.50 for single plates 
    • $100.00 personalized plates 
    • $15.50 Specialty plates***  
    • Collector classes $17.50 Double plates;$16.00 single plates plus $25.00 one-time registration fee, motorcycle is $10.00
    • $2.25 Title Technology Surcharge
