Civil Process
Any papers that need to be served, please drop off or mail to the Sheriff’s Office along with a $70 deposit & completed Civil Service Information Sheet. Mail papers to: Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office Attn: Civil Process 2201 23rd St Ne Suite 101, Willmar, MN 56201

Record Requests
Record requests can be made in person, by phone at 320-214-6700 Ext: 2 and by email
at: ksd-records@kcmn.us please include as much information as possible in your request and
contact information. The records office has 10 business days to process any request received.

Permits to Purchase
Accepted by mail or in person. Please mail the completed application and a color copy of your Drivers License to: 2201 23rd St NE, Suite 101, Willmar, MN 56201. If you would like us to mail you an application please call our office at 320-214-6700 Ext. 2.

Permits to Carry
Permit to Carry applications are accepted Monday - Friday from 8am to 4:30pm. Please bring the following with you: Certificate of training (dated within the last year), form of Identification and payment. The exact amount for the application either cash or check. Fee for renewal is $75 and a new application is $100. If you have any questions please call (320) 214-6700 Ext: 2

Any individual looking to partake in a ride-along with the Sheriff's Office should fill out the waiver form and then either drop off at the Sheriff's Office during open lobby hours (M-F from 8a-4:30p) or email to records at ksd-records@kcmn.us.
The Chief Deputy will then be in touch to set up a time to ride along if/when it is approved.
